Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Houston, Texas, on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to trial attorneys, helping manage injury-related legal cases and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset to the position.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all legal documents are accurate and up to date.

• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.

• Schedule and manage appointments, hearings, and court dates, while maintaining attorney calendars.

• Coordinate the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, presentations, and other supporting documents.

• File legal documents with courts and agencies, adhering to strict deadlines and compliance standards.

• Conduct legal research and assist in the investigation of case details as needed.

• Provide administrative support, including data entry, billing, and document management.

• Communicate empathetically with clients, especially those dealing with serious injuries, to provide updates and gather necessary information.

• Utilize case management software and tools to streamline processes and ensure efficiency. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or completion of an accredited paralegal program.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a paralegal in a similar legal environment.

• Proficiency in legal terminology, documentation, and procedures.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software, such as case management tools and CompuLaw.

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
