Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing billing activities. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices using a paperless system to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and reviewing monthly statements.

• Prepare and process lien releases in compliance with company policies.

• Input weekly timesheets for a workforce of over 70 employees.

• Manage weekly billing entries and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.

• Assist in generating periodic financial and operational reports.

• Handle employee expense reports, ensuring all claims are verified and processed efficiently.

• Provide administrative support to visitors and maintain a welcoming environment.

• Collaborate with executives to address requests and inquiries from senior management.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the accounting and administrative functions. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.

• Experience with billing systems and invoice processing.

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling tasks.
