Description We are looking for a dedicated Director of Employee Benefits Division to join our team in Southaven, Mississippi. In this role, you will lead and oversee the management of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional support to clients and their teams. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and provide guidance to Account Managers, ensuring efficient and effective client support.
• Oversee the administration and management of employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement client contribution strategies to optimize healthcare costs and improve benefits offerings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including health and accident insurance standards.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and implement long-term solutions to enhance employee retention.
• Monitor and manage carrier systems and tools, including Employee Navigator, to streamline processes.
• Analyze benefits data and trends to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Handle auditing processes related to employee benefits to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Facilitate smooth administration of COBRA and claims processes for clients.
• Provide training and support to HR teams and employees on benefits-related topics. Requirements • Proven expertise in benefits administration and employee benefits management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements within the employee benefits field.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex benefits challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and team members effectively.
• Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with carrier systems and tools, such as Employee Navigator, is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Active Health and Accident insurance license issued by the Department of Insurance.
