Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mount Washington, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices to ensure accurate coding and timely payment.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Manage check runs and ensure proper documentation for all payments.

• Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

• Review and resolve discrepancies in invoice processing to align with company standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounts payable procedures.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP for efficient data management.

• Maintain organized records of accounts payable activities for audits and reporting.

• Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant financial documentation. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles.

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.

• High level of organization and ability to maintain thorough records.
