Description

Position Summary:

+ Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and _concludes_ auto property damage and auto bodily injury commercial lines claims.

+ Applies knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations when conducting investigations and determining coverage.

+ Completes all aspects from investigation through settlement of commercial claims.

+ Monitors and adjusts reserves appropriately. Discusses potential serious losses with Claims management.

Job Requirements:

+ Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. College degree or vocational training preferred but not required.

+ Requires previous experience handling, property damage and bodily injury loss claims.

+ Demonstrates the skills of handling face-to-face conflict resolution, customer-focused solutions, and independently manage, resolve, and complete complex files under limited direction.

+ Requires a thorough knowledge of casualty claims handling definitions, terms, policies, and concepts. Extensive knowledge in Commercial ISO contracts is preferred, but not required.

+ Willingness to participate with educational programs to stay professionally current with the commercial insurance and repair industries.

+ Requires the ability to delegate, manage and oversee property damage and bodily injury investigations; secures and maintains proper file requirements; efficiently documents all transactions completed with detail and accuracy.\\
