    Description

    Comunilife Inc. is looking for aClinical Director for its new OMH program, Project Engage. Under the supervision of the AVP of Programs, the Clinical Director will clinical will provide oversight of the activities of the crisis counseling program including and not limited to the acting as a liaison and managing the oversight of community partnerships, engagement and coordination and planning in service deliverables and planning with Project Engage team. The employee ensures strengths based, person centered quality of care provided in a culturally and linguistically meaningful therapeutic environment.This position is eligible for Comunilife's generous paid time off and benefits package.

    Essential Duties:

    + Assists in establishing effective and efficient operations in accordance with Project Engage regulations.

    + Lead in the coordination and clinical supervision of Project Engage Community Mental Wellness Workers (CMMW).

    + Work collaboratively with the Clinical Coordinator on establishing workflows, developing initiatives, and mental health curriculums for staff.

    + Liaison between the staff from Columbia University and reporting required under future oversight from OMH and/or SAMHSA.

    + Directly supervises data reporting from the Team Leaders utilizing the Columbia Tool, in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator.

    + Work with the Columbia Project Engage Team on Social Determinants of Health component of research that is relevant to served populations.

    + Issue clinical recommendations to AVP of Transitional Programs to ensure proper compliance of program guidelines.

    + Review and report of chart compliance with a goal of maintaining 100% compliance.

    + Provide counsel and expert advice to the staff for quality and performance improvement.

    + Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience Requirement(s):

    + Master’s Degree in Social Work required

    + Licensed Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor (LMSW/ LMHC)

    + 2+ years supervisory experience in social work

    + Previous relevant experience in a Mental or Behavioral Health environment required.

    + Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making.

    + Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion

    + Must be able to multitask with strong organization sills.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form.

    + Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity.

    + Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
