Position Overview:
The Summer Youth Worker is a Jobs4Youth position and is responsible for providing youth (14-24 years of age by July 1st) with summer employment opportunities while developing career readiness skills through workshops.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Job responsibilities will differ based on the offices and department where you are located
+ Work up to 20 hours per week
Required Qualifications and Skills:
+ Dependable transportation needed. Must enjoy working with people, demonstrate dedication and communication skills.
+ Schedule is temporary during June-August.
+ Must provide / or obtain MA work permit.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, use a keyboard, use a telephone and climb stairs
+ Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation:
A salary within the range of $16.00 per hour will be provided to the successful candidate having met the minimum requirements for the position consistent with the MOC compensation philosophy.
