Position Details:

+ **Type:** Temporary (6-month assignment)

+ **Pay:** $21.00 per hour

+ **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment? As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Enter customer load data into the Freight Optimizer system and maintain accurate customer profiles.

+ Communicate updates on problem loads to account managers and keep customers informed.

+ Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure timely and damage-free arrivals.

+ Handle check calls from drivers and validate delivery data for accounting.

+ Investigate and document overages, shortages, and damages.

+ Manage delivery appointments and load acceptance based on account manager direction.

+ Provide clear routing instructions to drivers.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Minimum 1 year of logistics experience

+ Solid understanding of the transportation industry

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Strong written communication skills

+ Ability to follow instructions in various formats (written, verbal, diagram)

**Pay Details:** $21.00 per hour
