    Job Title: Patient Representative

     

    Department: Dependency Rehab

     

    Hours Per Week: 40 Full Time

     

    Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 am to 4 pm

    SUMMARY:

    Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) modules and other office equipment to perform all clerical tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Works in collaboration with physicians (MD, DO), Physician Assistants (PA), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and Nurse Practitioner (NP).

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform clerical duties, support providers, assist with billing inquiries, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.

    + Maintain professional interactions, manage referrals, and assist with patient education as needed.

    + Collect payments, balance cash drawers, resolve discrepancies, and optimize supply use.

    + Follow accreditation, state, and federal healthcare standards while ensuring regulatory compliance.

    + Assist with clerical issues, process improvements, problem-solving, and participate in training.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + High School Diploma (or equivalent)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Medical Terminology

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.     PAY RANGE:

    $16.70 - $22.49

     

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
