    Globally recognized eCommerce company based in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a Traveling Conveyor System Project Engineer. These Engineers are responsible for the completion of the project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of the project/program.

     

    The Project Engineer is mainly responsible for traveling to various warehouse facilities to support the project of retrofitting or replacing the old conveyor belt system. The Project Engineer will not be responsible for the hands-on work, but be the main point of contact as a project manager to work with various vendors in bring them into the warehouse facilities to conduct these replacements and installations.

     

    Pay - $65/hr. (Set final pay, no room for negotiation)

     

    Contract Duration - 5 Months To Start

     

    Location - NC, DC, MD, VA, NJ, or NYC local candidates

     

    Travel Requirement - 80% - 100% (travel compensated)

    (Responsibilities)

    + Will be responsible for generating leads for untapped territories using 3rd party and outside resources.

    + Engage in the agricultural package manufacturing machinery selling to manufacturing companies and offer solutions for machine add-ons.

    + Travel to untapped territories to establish in-person meetings and sell-over opportunities.

     

    (Key Projects)

     

    + Will be travelling to various warehouses and retrofit/update old conveyor belts to new modern ones (focused on automation and MHE equipment).

    + Will utilize engineering knowledge to partner with other vendors who will come out to the facilities and perform duties (project management experience).

    (Qualification Requirements)

    + 3-5 years of experience within engineering industry.

    + 3-5 years of project management experience.

    + Bachelors Degree (in Engineering preferred).

    + Comfortability travelling 80%-100% to work site locations.

    + Must have automation experience and conveyor belts/systems experience.

    + Experience / comfortability working with 3rd party vendors.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
