    Job Title: CMM Programmer

    Job Description

    The CMM programmer plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery within the company. This position is responsible for providing necessary quality inspection skills to support both internal and external customer success.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, qualify, and maintain CMM programs.

    + Operate CMMs for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval.

    + Read and interpret drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for various components.

    + Ensure containment activities occur when discrepancies are identified.

    + Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings and PPAP requirements.

    + Participate in corrective action and preventive action processes.

    + Engage in Gage R & R Studies.

    + Utilize a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.

    + Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

    + 1-3 years of experience (5 years ideal)

    + Computer skills

    + Romer

    + Calibration

    + Inspection

    + Blueprint and schematic reading

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to exceed goals and align with company values

    + Performance in programming, inspection, training, and project completion

    + Extensive program usage experience in related industries such as automotive, medical device, and aerospace

    The work environment includes a shift from 7am to 4pm, with potential adjustments to start times. The role requires flexibility as there is a significant need to push parts out. The workplace offers a collaborative atmosphere with modern technology and tools to support your work.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $45.00/hr.
