Job Title: Panel Builder
Job Description
As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for building and wiring control panels, using basic hand tools, and utilizing test equipment to ensure quality. This role involves fabricating and wiring control panels, comparing wiring and control device locations, examining wiring for any loose or faulty connections, testing wiring circuits for malfunctions, and labeling each wire within the panel.
Responsibilities
+ Build and wire control panels.
+ Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters.
+ Utilize test equipment including voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
+ Fabricate and wire control panels according to specifications.
+ Compare wiring and location of control devices to design schematics.
+ Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections.
+ Test wiring circuits for malfunctions and identify root causes.
+ Label each wire in the panel accurately.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment.
+ Experience in electrical assembly and wiring control panels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of panel shop processes, quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization.
+ Experience as an electrician or electrician apprentice.
+ HVAC experience, particularly if it involves wiring.
+ General wiring experience.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, quiet, and temperature-controlled facility. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and a t-shirt, with no requirement for steel-toed shoes. The shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays if necessary.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
