Job Title: Lead Welder/Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lead to join our team as a 1st shift welding supervisor. In this role, you will oversee projects and deadlines, working closely with leadership to develop production schedules, optimize resources, and identify and report any potential issues.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee welding projects and ensure deadlines are met.
+ Collaborate with leadership to create and maintain production schedules.
+ Optimize resources to maximize production efficiency.
+ Identify, report, and address any problems or challenges that arise during fabrication processes.
+ Ensure high attention to detail and adherence to food-grade standards in all work.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Welding, including TIG and MIG techniques.
+ Experience with welding inspection and blueprint reading.
+ Ability to fabricate using stainless steel and aluminum.
+ High attention to detail and quality standards.
+ Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) qualification.
+ Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) knowledge.
+ Leadership experience.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large fabrication shop specializing in stainless steel components that support the food production industry. This role involves working in a collaborative and detail-oriented setting, ensuring quality and precision in all projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $62.00/hr.
