    Job Title: RME - Maintenance Technician II

     

    Are you looking for a career and a platform to grow your skills in the automation industry? We are hiring Automation and Robotic Maintenance Technicians at a brand-new cutting edge facility in Bristol, IN. This is a "foot-in-the-door" opportunity with paid travel training opportunities and ability to be apart of an automation and robotics movement. This position starts June 2nd 2025 with training lasting 4 months. Are you ready to meet your potential?

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician II, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors)

    + Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures

    + Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries

    + Enter downtime data in daily log, complete PM sheets

    + Manage work orders within a CMMS

    + Apply electrical knowledge of basic components

    + Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment

    + Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures

    + 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls

    + 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading

    + 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles

    + 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards

    + 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems

    + 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations

    + Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

    + Continuous improvement mindset

    + Willingness to learn and grow within the company

    + Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards

    + Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field

    + 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field

    + 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based controls systems

    + Experience with robotic operation and maintenance

    Work Environment

     

    Candidates should be comfortable with their performance being tracked by data and numbers. The work environment is a large distribution facility with high-speed, automated equipment, primarily with robotic components. The job involves walking up to 10,000 steps per day and lifting up to 49 lbs. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
