Job Description & Schedules

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sparta, Michigan. This role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant equipment. Technicians will perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with established safety procedures.

The position offers flexibility with various shifts available: 1st Shift Weekend - Friday through Monday 6-4:30pm, 2nd Shift 3:30 to 12am, 3rd Shift 8pm -6:30am. No weekends because they have a weekend shift crew. There is a $1 shift premium for the off shifts.

+ Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.

+ Perform skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment.

+ Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair.

+ Identify parts needed for replacement and place orders as necessary.

+ Supervise the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other equipment.

+ Ensure compliance with company requirements.

+ Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations.

+ Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Essential Skills

+ At least 3 years of industrial machine repair experience.

+ Experience with hydraulic repair.

+ Experience repairing conveyors, fillers, labelers, and sensors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
