    Job Title: Aircraft Technician

    Job Description

    The aircraft technician will support aircraft modification, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and structural work on Gulfstream aircraft. This role requires performing routine and non-routine maintenance, structural and avionics repairs, and ensuring proper care of customer property through all phases of maintenance work.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine and non-routine maintenance

    + Conduct structural and avionics repairs

    + Ensure proper care of customer property through all phases of maintenance work

    + Accurately complete required paperwork and work order details

    Essential Skills

    + Modification, repair, and fabrication skills

    + Experience with Gulfstream and Learjet aircraft

    + Blueprint and drawing reading capabilities

    + Heavy maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul experience

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 4+ years of MRO/modification experience

    + A license required, P license highly preferred

    + Must be eligible for clearance

    + Experience with Learjet 31, 35, and 36 and Gulfstream 4 and Gulfstream 4SP preferred

    + Flexibility to work any shift

    + Must provide own tools (shadow requirements)

    + Ability to read blueprints and drawings

    Work Environment

     

    Hangar environment. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 3PM-1AM. Must be comfortable with working overtime, as at least 50 hours of work per week are expected.

    This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
