    As a Land Acquisition Analyst with Ryan Homes, an NVR company, you will be assisting the land acquisition department in performing analyses to acquire raw land or finished lots. You will provide sophisticated land use analyses and participate in due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental, utility system, and title analysis. The ideal candidate should be passionate about real estate and land and interested in building a career in homebuilding. You will work beside and learn from a seasoned team of land acquisition and homebuilding operations professionals in a collaborative environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Prepare and maintain a database of uncontrolled development in the municipal approvals process

    + Research and identify new opportunities resulting from municipal driven rezoning and infrastructure improvements

    + Utilize GIS software and related resources to identify target development parcels and make initial contact with land owners

    + Perform resale and new home comparable analysis

    + Complete community positioning analysis for new acquisitions and ongoing communities requiring investment decisions

    + Assemble and coordinate analytics for corporate approval of new acquisitions

    + Understand competitive market by visiting sites as required and collate and analyze competitive pricing, features, costs, etc.

    + Learn how to negotiate and contract land and lots

    Qualifications

    + Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or related field preferred; or 1-2 years experience in a related role

    + Future relocation availability is a bonus
