Job Summary:
Member of the parallel co-op team completing design projects. The projects include developing concepts to resolve current issues and as part of new product programs. This position is a great development opportunity
What You Will Do:
+ Complete Design Projects
+ Leverage parallel co-op students to complete projects.
+ Provide coaching and mentoring to 2 or 3 students.
+ Participate in the evaluation of the performance of the students.
Education requirement:
BS in engineering from ABET accredited program is required. ME, ABE, SystemsE, & AE are preferred. MET & GE are also options.
What skills you will have:
Technical Excellence:
+ Proficiency in engineering 3D design software
+ Ability to optimize product designs for mining and construction equipment using simulation platforms.
+ Strong understanding of engineering principles and their application in real-world scenarios.
Computer-Aided Design & Engineering:
+ Expertise in CAD software like AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
+ Skilled in creating detailed designs, simulations, and modifications.
+ Knowledge in using CAD tools to develop and refine engineering drawings and models.
Product Design and Development:
+ Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill.
+ Ability to manage the entire lifecycle of a product from inception through engineering design and manufacturing.
+ Knowledge of integrating PLM tools to streamline product development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The location for this position is Champaign, IL

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
