Overview:

We are seeking an experienced formulation scientist or pharmacist consultant with a strong background in GLP-1 medications and sterile injectable formulation. This is a flexible, part-time consulting role with the option to work remotely. However, preference will be given to candidates located in or near Miami, Florida, as occasional in-person visits may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide expert guidance on the formulation of GLP-1 and other sterile injectable drugs

+ Answer technical questions related to formula development and stability

+ Participate in ad hoc calls or respond to urgent inquiries on short notice

+ Assist in troubleshooting formulation or manufacturing issues as needed

+ Review and provide feedback on formulation protocols, documentation, or regulatory considerations

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience formulating GLP-1 medications or similar sterile injectable pharmaceuticals

+ Advanced degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or a related field preferred

+ Strong understanding of sterile compounding, aseptic techniques, and regulatory requirements

+ Ability to communicate complex formulation concepts clearly and efficiently

+ Availability for short-notice consulting calls or rapid turnaround questions

+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

+ Based in Miami, FL or surrounding area

+ Prior experience working with compounding pharmacies or CDMOs

Compensation:

Competitive hourly or retainer-based consulting rate, commensurate with experience.
