We are looking for a Law Intern.

Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Counsel – Business Services, the Legal Intern will have the opportunity to work and gain exposure in Trustmark’s Law Department.

Key Accountabilities:

+ Conduct legal and compliance research to support the Law department.

+ Assist with drafting and reviewing contract templates.

+ Attend internal and external meetings to observe legal discussions.

+ Experience the day-to-day work of legal and compliance professionals, gaining exposure to various legal tasks.

+ Participate in ad hoc projects as determined by the senior leaders of the Law Department.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Currently enrolled in an Illinois law school.

+ First-year law student (1L).

+ Must be able to work 37.5 hours per week.

The compensation range for this role is the following based on the location of Lake Forest, Illinois:

$18.89 - $27.29 per hour

The final offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive salary within the market.
