New Business Funds and Capital Project Portfolio Manager \- Level 5
We are seeking a F\-35 New Business Funds and Capital portfolio management lead to represent the program on long range planning and provide NBF and Capital budgetary oversight/management within the F\-35 program\. Position will provide budgetary oversight, support business reporting rhythms, prepare presentations up to ELT level, and make budgetary recommendations to senior management\. The candidate will also interact across all program functions and organizations in support of planning phase and execution of scope\.
Candidate will:
• Maintain full site picture of NBF and Capital planning cycles for executives across the F\-35 program
• Ensure alignment of F\-35 strategic goals during annual NBF and Capital planning cycles
• Create, plan, manage and evolve documents for ELT\-Level NBF, IT, & Capital discussions
• Coordinate and driving business rhythms for NBF, IT, and Capital, both internally and across Enterprise functions
• Understand F\-35 specific investments as well as being the integration point for Functional Enterprise investments \(NBF, IT, & Capital\) alignment of projects that support F\-35 in meeting program goals\.
• Project manage risk/opportunity, cost, schedule, and scope for F\-35 specific NBF, IT, and Capital projects
• Ensure all NBF, IT, & Capital investments provide sufficient return on investment to the F\-35 program during planning phase to support strategic budgetary decisions at the program level\.
• Development of metrics to ensure F\-35 is getting maximum ROI from NBF and Capital projects during the execution phase\.
• Drive continuous improvement into investment activities that optimize spending by leading or participating in NBF, IT, & Capital related special projects to improve F\-35 performance and outlook\.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Project Management experience
• Experience creating and delivering concise and impactful executive level presentations\.
• Experience tracking cost, schedule, and technical progress of projects, including use of EVMS\.
• Experience with extracting financial data from ledgers \(e\.g\. SAP\) and reporting repositories \(e\.g\. Cobra\)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; expertise in Microsoft Excel
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience managing New Business Funds and Capital
• Strong understanding of the F\-35 Program
• Data\-driven management philosophy with objective of establishing measures to hold the program as a unit of action accountable to achieving continuous improvement
• Attitude of constructive dissatisfaction \(“we can always be better, here’s how”\) in support of continuous improvement
• Experience with proposals
• Ability to multi\-task and coordinate
• Detail oriented self\-starter who can take initiative and work independently with minimal direction and oversight
• Ability to lead a cross\-functional team as an informal leader
• Strong organization, analytical, & interpersonal skills
• Ability to rapidly respond to changing environments
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
