Senior Audio-Visual Designer

Preferred location: St. Louis
Qualifications:
+ Over 5 years of experience in commissioning and/or designing AV systems for Enterprise customers.
+ Advanced technical acumen in AV equipment and systems, including cameras, matrix switchers, DSPs and control system platforms (e.g., Crestron, Extron, QSC).
+ Extensive experience building and supporting Cisco Macros for room integration and customizations.
+ Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings
+ Knowledge of project financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects is essential
+ Understanding of basic networking and AVoIP protocols (e.g., AVB, Dante).
+ Experience configuring and supporting MTR, Zoom Rooms and Cisco Webex endpoints for client video conferencing solutions.
+ Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Revit or similar proficiency in the use of other diagrammatic software tools.
+ Experience with DVLED video walls such as Planar and Unilumen.
+ Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team setting; experience leading field project installations is advantageous.
+ Providing technical expertise for the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions.
+ Researching and evaluating the capabilities of available hardware and software options.
+ Experience with Digital Signage platforms and hardware is a plus.
+ Experience with streaming platforms such as Vbrick and Hive is a plus.
Education & Experience:
+ 5+ years’ experience in a pre-sales Engineering role.
+ Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in a technical subject is desirable.
+ AV project management experience.
+ Audio/Visual industry related technical certifications.
+ Experience with collaboration technologies such as Teams, Zoom and WebEx.
Additional Requirements:
+ Preferred qualifications include AV design experience and certifications such as Certified Technology Specialist (CTS & CTS-D) – AVIXA, Dante Level 1 Certification, and proficiency with MTR, Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, Cisco, Sennheiser software/hardware.
+ May require occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
+ Up to 25% Domestic travel
+ Valid passport; International travel possible.
+ Valid U.S. driver’s license.
+ Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
+ Willingness to pursue and attend additional training related to performance of job.
+ Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts.
