Our client, a leading player in the beverage industry, is seeking an Inventory Checker to join their team. As an Inventory Checker, you will be part of the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Inventory Checker
**Location:** Fort Myers, FL
**Pay Range:** $14 per hour
What's the Job?
+ Ensure load accuracy at check-in and check-out by physically counting inventory.
+ Maintain required records and enter inventory data using handheld devices.
+ Visually inspect all incoming and outgoing vehicles, including climbing onto trucks and manually opening bay doors.
+ Perform general duties involving physical handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment.
+ Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
What's Needed?
+ Strong math skills to accurately count and record inventory.
+ Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
+ Prior warehouse, inventory, or auditing experience is preferred.
+ Ability to perform duties in an outdoor setting
