Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Manager to lead and oversee billing operations in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will manage a team of billing specialists, ensuring accurate and compliant client invoicing while maintaining high standards of organization and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of financial processes and mentor a team in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities:

+ Lead, train, and supervise a team of 3–4 Billing Specialists

+ Oversee processing of legal invoices, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance

+ Model professionalism, strong organization, attention to detail, customer service, and teamwork

+ Manage and balance team workloads while offering regular performance feedback

+ Assist the Operations Manager in conducting performance evaluations

Requirements

+ College degree preferred but not required

+ Over 5 years of law firm billing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role

+ Skilled in using electronic billing systems

+ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure

+ Preferred experience with the ProLaw billing system

+ Strong technical skills and knowledge of legal billing procedures

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
