Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Anaheim, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall efficiency of the office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage full-cycle payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate onboarding procedures for new hires to ensure smooth transitions.
• Perform regular reviews and reconciliations of bank accounts for accuracy.
• Oversee accounts receivable operations, including invoicing and collections.
• Verify and review accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.
• Prepare and submit union trust reports in compliance with regulations.
• Handle organizational reporting and enrollment processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and review subcontract agreements.
• Supervise office staff and oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Strong experience in performing bank reconciliations.
• Expertise in payroll administration, including certified payroll.
• Familiarity with AIA billing and related financial documentation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with office staff.
• Prior experience in managing complex financial systems and reporting.
