Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage key financial operations within our organization in Ontario, California. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of accounting processes while contributing to inventory analysis, month-end close procedures, and payroll functions. The role is ideal for a hands-on individual eager to make a significant impact in a stand-alone capacity, with potential to expand the team in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing, tax preparation, and month-end close processes.

• Conduct detailed inventory analysis and oversee cycle counts for high-volume inventory management.

• Collaborate with external accounting firms to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.

• Approve checks, deposits, and banking transactions while maintaining relationships with financial institutions.

• Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate records and streamline financial operations.

• Handle basic benefit and HR-related duties, leveraging automated systems for efficiency.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of discounts, prepayments, and tax filings.

• Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial processes and reporting.

• Assess the need for additional staff and assist in hiring, training, and supervising accounting personnel as needed.

• Perform audits and reviews to verify the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with 15+ years preferred.

• Strong expertise in inventory management, analysis, and cycle count processes.

• Proficiency in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax preparation.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Business Edge.

• Familiarity with banking operations, including approving checks and deposits.

• Ability to work independently in a stand-alone role with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of benefits and HR processes, with experience in automated systems being advantageous.
