    SUMMARY

    Interprets and performs associated processing requirements for any required records and controlled documents. Knowledge and skills must include associated processing requirements of receipt, analysis, data entry, distribution, storage (microfilm, electronic, optical and hardcopy) and retrieval of documents and records.

    EDUCATION

    • High School/GED or equivalent (Required)

    • Associates degree or 3 years of nuclear experience. (Preferred)

    EXPERIENCE

    Relevant experience may be considered for all levels.

     

    • Analyst Records RM/DC (2894) – no experience is required

    • Analyst Records I RM/DC (2787) – minimum of 6 months of related experience (Required)

    • Analyst Records II RM/DC (2793) – minimum of 18 months of related experience (Required)

    • Analyst Records III RM/DC (2794) – minimum of 30 of related experience (Required)

    • Analyst Records IV RM/DC (2795) – minimum of 42 of related experience (Required)

    • Analyst Dev RM/DC (2271) – minimum of 60 months of related experience (Required)

    LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

    • There is no Certification or Licensure Listed

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    In accordance with approved Procedures, Instructions and Guidelines:

    • Performs receipt, processing scanning/importing, indexing and verification of required records and controlled documents into Oracle /FileNet, ensuring database integrity and compliance with approved procedures. This includes managing both current and archived records and controlled documents.

    • Ensures integrity of database and validity of data affecting correct status for required records and controlled documents.

    • Performs retrieval, issuance, distribution and tracking of required records and controlled documents.

    • Coordinates, assists and performs audits of Level 1 Stations for controlled documents

    • Performs receipt, processing, storage, and control of Safeguards Information

    • Knowledge of and ability to use the Station Condition Report (CR) program

    • Modifies and produces basic reports.

    • Identifies and assists in the resolution of problems during RMS processing activities.

    • Knowledge and skills in the operation of the department’s optical disk/ imaging records system and the department’s Client/Server relational computer database.

    • General understanding, development and revision of the Document Type List and associated requirements for required records and controlled documents.

    • General knowledge of nuclear industry codes, standards and guidelines directly related to the Records Management System.

    • Ability to report basic statistical information through oral and written communications.

    • Supports and provides technical guidance for RM projects including assisting in developing project plan and schedule, coordinate project activities, and provide project status to management.

    • Trains department employees in the use of the RM Client/Server relational computer database and the imaging/electronic record system for retrieval and processing requirements in accordance with approved procedures, instructions, and guidelines

    • Verifies for compliance that RM/DC functions are performed in accordance with approved Procedures, Instructions and Guidelines:

    • Proficient and experienced in supporting all aspects of Records Management and Document Control.

    • General understanding of associated processing requirements for assigned required records and controlled documents.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Accept ERO position as needed.

    • Accept outage position as needed.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.

    • Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position.

    ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Environmental and physical requirements are subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up to 30 lbs; ascending/descending stairs; sitting for extended periods of time; and spending considerable time in front of computer monitors.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.

    • Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.

    • Travel may be required.

    • May be required to carry phone.

    WORK LOCATION

    • Site – Due to the nature of the work, this position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site.
