    Job Title: Courier Department: UMMC Material ManagementLocation: United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC-Batavia)Hours Per Week: Schedule: 0 Per Diem Sign-On Bonus: N/A

     

    SUMMARY: Responsible for pick up and deliveries. Responsible for receiving and storage of all delivered supplies. Material Management Only: Responsible for timely deliveries of pharmacy supplies, bank bags, mail, med-surge supplies, hospital equipment and special non-stock orders.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Maintains work areas in a safe, sanitary and orderly manner, demonstrating proper equipment use and sanitation techniques

    + Obeys all applicable laws and regulations dealing with operation of vehicle and DOT regulations.

    + Reports all incidents, damage, accidents immediately to manager or supervisor.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + High school graduate or equivalent.

    + Ability to read and write English and communicate effectively.

    + Valid New York State Driver’s License.

    NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
