Energy Analyst, Program Operations

We are seeking an Energy Analyst for our Energy Efficiency division to evaluate and verify utility sponsored projects in the Central region. The Energy Analyst will work with a cross-functional team of program management, outreach, technical and marketing personnel as well as apply your academic and industry knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, and build content knowledge and consulting skills.
The Energy Analyst will work with the Central Program Operations Lead and the Central Operations Management team to coordinate the delivery of energy programs by implementing best practices for programmatic functions such as application reviews, performance tracking, and client deliverables.
What you will be doing:
+ Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed
+ Liaise with IT, Marketing, Reporting, and Customer Care teams (including coordinating, tracking, and resolving action items)
+ Write the requirements that engineers will use to create and enhance tools and reports that support Mid-Central clients across their portfolio of energy efficiency programs
+ Assist in the standardization of reporting and processes across, including brainstorming solutions, writing implementation plans, and helping to manage the execution of those plans
+ Preparation and submission of incentive invoices
+ Assist with processing incoming project applications
+ Review project application forms and submittals to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures
+ Assign project applications for further processing and review per program policies and procedures
+ Research for industry related pilots and projects
+ Update client reports
+ Assist in preparation and delivery of internal and client presentations
+ Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases for internal tracking
+ Document operational processes and implement streamlined processes where applicable
+ Maintain and update shared files, resources, and program documents to ensure all program staff has access to the latest versions of materials
+ Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed
What you will need to have (minimum qualifications):
+ BS/BA degree in Business, Economics, Energy, Environmental Science, Information Technology or related discipline (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
+ 1+ year(s) of experience in administering or providing operational support of successful projects or programs or related work experience
+ Must be able to pass a background check, have a valid driver’s license, and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and drug screening.
What would be useful (preferred skills):
+ Knowledge of the utility and energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and markets
+ Experience communicating requirements to IT and Reporting teams to deliver quality tools and data
+ Experience with Atlassian/JIRA
+ Advanced MS Excel experience and skills
+ Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool)
+ Certifications related to operational excellence (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) and/or industry specific certificates (LEED, BPI, RESNET, etc.)

**Pay Range** - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$55,388.00 - $94,160.00
