    Aerotek's client is looking for Siding Installers/Carpenters to join their team in the MD area

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Siding Installer where you will be responsible for installing exterior siding and constructing the structural framework of residential and commercial buildings. This role requires ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within project timelines throughout the DMV area.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform rough framing and build wooden structures including walls, roofs, and flooring.

    + Conduct joinery work such as installing joists and studs, flashing, and securing structural supports.

    + Install vinyl and composite siding with precision and attention to detail.

    + Apply weather-resistant barriers and house wraps to protect building exteriors.

    + Operate various equipment such as lifts, scaffolds, and ladders safely and effectively.

    + Select appropriate wood materials for projects, ensuring quality while aligning with clients' budgets.

    + Collaborate with general contractors, clients, and suppliers to complete projects within time and resource constraints.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience in siding installation for 2-3+ years.

    + Strong skills in masonry and carpentry.

    + Expertise in exterior trim and construction.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Additional experience in exterior construction is a plus.

    Work Environment

    + Work primarily in PG County and across the DMV area. Engage in a hands-on role with access to various equipment types including lifts, scaffolds, and ladders, ensuring safety and efficiency at every step.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
