Job Title: Electrician

We are hiring Field service AND shop industrial electricians. Are you interested in working with generators? This is a direct opportunity with an electrical installer supplier for CAT. Job Description

+ Start up environment. job will be installation, conduit, wiring equipment inside of a generator enclosure

+ Working knowledge of basic electrical installation

+ Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center

+ Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire

+ Interpret current NEC codes

+ Interpret shop drawings

+ Lay/bend and install electrical conduit in generator enclosures in commercial and industrial settings.

+ Run wire.

+ Install and wire up circuit boxes.

+ Read a tape measure.

+ Install breaker boxes.

1st M-F 6am - 2:30 pm

2nd M-F 3pm - 11pm

**Electrical Helper:** $18-$26: 3 years minimum experience basic electrical knowledge, schooling, or equivalent working electrical knowledge i.e. auto shop, construction, work on own electrical, handyman

**Industrial Electrician:** $22-$33 maintenance electrician, electrician - industrial/commercial prefer commercial electricians due to amount of time wiring enclosures.

**Journeyman electrician:** $27-$40 Certified Journeyman (state license) + experience

Hard Skills

+ Run and bend conduit for electrical wiring for generator units

+ Install and wire up circuit boxes

+ Read a tape measure

+ Install breaker boxes

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical installation and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to bend and size conduit and wire.

+ Understanding of NEC codes and ability to interpret shop drawings.

+ Experience in wiring motors and three-phase electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Generator and manufacturing industry experience desired or an equivalent college degree.

+ State certification preferred.

+ Minimum of three years experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial setting, both inside and outside, as a versatile electrician until all systems are operational. Focus on wiring and building generator enclosures, handling installations and wiring tasks. The environment is non-temperature controlled, with shifts available Monday to Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Griffin, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37444.00 - $85904.00/yr.
