Job Title: ERS Tech II

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Emergency Response Technicians to efficiently handle all roadside assistance calls. As an ERS Tech II, you will be responsible for changing and replacing tires, charging or replacing car batteries, and towing vehicles when necessary. Each day, you will report to the garage, conduct safety inspections on your assigned vehicle, and complete 3-5+ service calls. At the end of the day, you will ensure your vehicle is clean and refueled before clocking out.

Responsibilities

+ Change and replace tires.

+ Charge or replace car batteries.

+ Tow vehicles when required.

+ Conduct safety inspections on assigned vehicles.

+ Complete 3-5+ service calls per day.

+ Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is refueled at the end of the day.

Essential Skills

+ Valid driver's license with 5+ years of driving experience.

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Ability to work independently.

+ Customer service experience.

+ Previous experience as a tow truck driver (Non-CDL).

+ Driving record with 4 points or less.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Experience with troubleshooting and repair.

+ Proficient with hand tools.

+ Strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a mechanics garage equipped with specialized tools and a fleet of 68 vehicles. This role involves working in various weather conditions, often resulting in a busy day with increased calls during adverse weather. The garage is well-maintained with all necessary equipment. This is a nearly 100% traveling position covering all of Marion County, utilizing vehicles ranging from F-150s for roadside calls to F-550 tow trucks for hauling.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Clarksville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
