Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a general production worker who can work in the paint department or other departments within our facility. In the paint department, you will operate machines to bend parts and hang them on paint line hooks to be dipped. You will rotate positions with a team member, remove parts from hooks when completed, check for quality, package, and palletize products to prepare for shipping. In other departments, you may assist laser operators with unloading products, deburr machined products, and help in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Work in various manufacturing cells with consistent speed and accuracy

+ Cooperate with team members to meet production goals

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area

+ Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to leadership

+ Follow standard work processes in each manufacturing cell to produce quality products within safety guidelines

+ Accurately fill out required paperwork for all products produced (quantities, quality checks, heat numbers, etc.)

+ Operate hand and power tools to assemble products

Work Environment

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm (working mandatory overtime currently, so 50 hours per week - 6am - 4pm Monday - Friday should be expected). The work environment is a smaller shop that is organized for the most part and has a close-knit, family-oriented culture with small-town vibes.

This is a Contract position based out of Winterset, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
