    Job Title: 1st Shift Forklift Operator

     

    Shift: 6am to 3pm (Mon-Fri, OT on saturdays)

     

    Pay: $20-21/hr

    Job Description

    This role focuses on handling flooring products for the home building industry. Candidates will receive an order sheet at the start of their shift, detailing orders to be pulled for the day from different construction sites. Using RF scanners, they are required to pull and track orders accurately and swiftly, ensuring the correct materials are sent to the right locations.

    Responsibilities

    + Pull orders quickly and accurately using RF scanners.

    + Track orders and ensure correct materials are sent to construction sites.

    + Load and unload materials using sit-down and pole lift forklifts.

    + Handle shipping, packing, order picking, and inventory tasks.

    + Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking vendors.

    Essential Skills

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Proficiency in using RF scanners.

    + Experience with sit-down forklift operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certification on forklifts will be provided after training.

    + Preference for candidates with 4 years of forklift experience and 6 years in warehouse operations, though not mandatory.

    Work Environment

     

    The culture fosters hard work and pride in one's duties. The warehouse is fairly new and modern, although not climate-controlled. The standard shift is Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm, with overtime as needed. The dress code includes steel toe shoes, dark pants, and a plain white shirt without logos.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of The Colony, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
