Description - NOW HIRING REMOTE FRONT LINE MORTGAGE UNDERWRITERS**
+ Underwriting Loans: Review and underwrite agency, jumbo, and FHA loans according to company and investor guidelines.
+ Communication: Clearly communicate underwriting decisions and stipulations to sales, processing staff, and clients.
+ Risk Assessment: Perform risk-based reviews on all loans based on expected performance and ability to repay.
+ Compliance: Conduct compliance reviews and escalate issues as required.
+ Documentation: Ensure all mortgage applications and documentation are accurate and complet
What you need to have:
• 3-5 year’s Mortgage UnderwritingExperience
• Experience in reviewing Underwriting Summaries
• Currently working in a similar roleStrong knowledge of processing or analysis of residential mortgage loans
• Proficiency in all areas of loan documentation, loan policies/guidelines, and procedures understanding of current mortgage lending
• Must be a self-starter and self -motivated to meet job expectations and goals
• Must be organized, responsible and able to use good judgment
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
• Exceptional organization skills to a pipeline of customers in various loan stages while meeting published production standards
• Ability to perform highly detailed work with multiple interruptions
• Ability to identify and solve problems with strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
Skills
Loan processing, loan front line origination, encompass, detail oriented, automated underwriting software

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
