    Amentum (Springfield, VA)


    **Amentum** is seeking a **Painter** to join our team and support our client in **Springfield, VA** . The painter will be completely knowledgeable and able to paint or remove paint from contract units in accordance with customer specifications. Understands and applies various corrosion control methods and technologies. Position reports to the Supervisor.

     

    Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

     

    Monday - Friday

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Performs duties necessary to maintain building finished in good working order including painting/repairing of walls and partitions.

    + Drywall patching, planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions.

    + Uses a variety of painter and carpenter hand tools, brushes, and portable power tools

    + Involves making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work; and selecting materials necessary for work

    + High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.

    + Five (5) years of painting experience required.

    + Ability to lift up to 45lbs.

    + Must be a US citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

    + Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

    + Active Security clearance
