    Our client, a leading custom-contract manufacturer of personal care and skin care products, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **QC Lab Technician** to support product testing in a cGMP-regulated environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and in-process quality checks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring product compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

     

    **Location:** Livermore, California

    **Terms:** Contract-to-hire (6 months)

    **Shift:** Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

    **Pay:** $23/hr–$25/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine testing on in-process, bulk, and finished products (pH, specific gravity, viscosity, color, odor, texture, and appearance).

    + Conduct sensory evaluations and record detailed observations.

    + Prepare and send samples to contract labs or customers and follow up as needed.

    + Maintain sample inventory and accurate lab documentation (lot numbers, test results, physical observations).

    + Perform calibrations of lab equipment on daily/weekly/monthly basis.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

    Qualifications

    + BS in Biology, Chemistry, or related field with 1–3 years of lab experience, OR

    + AS degree with 5+ years of relevant lab/QC experience.

    + Laboratory experience in a GMP-regulated environment.

    + Familiarity with QC test methods (pH, viscosity, sensory testing, etc.).

    + Previous work in food, cosmetics, or manufacturing industries is strongly preferred.

    + Basic math and computer proficiency (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    + Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.

    + Comfortable working independently and within a team.
