    Position Summary:

    The Senior Program Manager Device CoE plays a crucial role in the management and execution of complex cross functional programs and projects, and as the PMO lead for the Device COE.

     

    The role will develop and implement PMO strategies, processes, and best practices; track program and project performance, and ensure Device COE initiatives are on track to meet business objectives.

     

    It will guide and support program and project teams, in their planning, execution, and oversight to ensure successful and timely completion.

     

    The role collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project priorities and objectives, facilitating workshops and developing presentations to communicate project status and critical issues for resolution.

     

    Main Duties/Additional Duties/Sphere of authority

    Principal Duties:

    + **Project Leadership** : Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.

    + **Device COE Governance:** Establish and ensure compliance to governance frameworks. Develop and implement monitoring tools and metrics to track performance and effectiveness. Monitor program and project performance, ensuring they are on track to meet business objectives. Ensure effective communication and reporting mechanisms are in place for stakeholders

    + **Stakeholder Management** : Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define program and project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics. Foster a collaborative environment where team members work together effectively to solve problems.

    + **Strategic Planning** : Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies that align with business objectives.

    + **Reporting and Analysis** : Develop regular updates and performance reports for senior management and stakeholders, utilizing data-driven insights to drive decision-making.

    + **Team Development** : Mentor and support project teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.

    + **Process Improvement** : Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

    + **Risk Management** : Anticipate project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program and project deliverables.

    + **Continuous Improvement** : Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancements and implementing best practices.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    A minimum of a Bachelors or equivalent University degree is required.

     

    Certification in project management required

     

    Certification in process excellence methodologies (Desirable)

    Required:

    + Minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior program and project management or PMO lead roles, with a proven track record of managing complex cross functional projects in relevant industries (pharma and medical device)

    + Demonstrated experience with portfolio management and governance frameworks

    + Strong leadership and team management skills

    + Excellent communication and presentation abilities

    + Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

    + Experience in the application and execution of various project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma or J&J’s FPX.

    + Strong partner engagement and communication to influence and reach a desired result, aligned with organizational strategies.

    + Excellent organizational, analytical, written, conceptual, communication, and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

    + Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft products- Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word is required.

    + Proficient project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.).

    + Compliance with the GxP, EHS and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) requirements and guidelines, as applicable.

    Other:

    + This position may require up to 10% domestic & international travel

    + This position has an estimated annual salary of $120,000-$207,000  $USD

    + Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.- Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).- Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:- Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
