The Opportunity

We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.  Our Diabetes division  currently has an opportunity for a Software Test Engineer.  \#software

WHAT YOU’LL DO

+ Maintain and execute automation scripts, utilizing Java or Python in conjunction with frameworks such as Robot Framework, Appium, and Selenium with WebDriver

+ Complete software testing and activities in conjunction for user stories within the Agile SDLC process

+ Review System Specifications/Requirements documents, user stories and create verification test cases (based on those requirements), and execute test cases.

+ Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing, develop test datasets and execute automation scripts (to ensure application software releases are of high quality)

+ Investigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes.

+ Create verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices and review with relevant stakeholders (dev and quality)

Required** ** ** **Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.

+ 2 years’ experience in Software Testing and/or Software Quality Assurance including coursework.

+ Must be technically strong in Java andhave experience testing mobile applications

+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

+ Moderate level of understanding of test-driven methodologies

+ Moderate experience automating mobile application tests

+ Moderate level of knowledge with continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD)

+ Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thought

+ Moderate level of understanding of design patterns

+ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

+ Moderate knowledge in Python

+ Moderate knowledge in Robot Framework

Preferred**   **Qualifications

+ Medical Device experience strongly preferred.

+ Experience in an agile development environment preferred.

+ Experience with embedded systems and integration testing with external systems preferred

+ Cyber security, medical mobile applications or cloud computing experience preferred.

The base pay for this position is $83,500.00 – $153,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
