    Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Gero-Psych Patient Safety Specialist is responsible for delivering quality patient care through maintaining a therapeutic milieu and implementing diversionary activities designed to meet the patient’s biospsychosocial needs.

    Job Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED; it is preferred that the candidate is enrolled in college, preferably with a nursing or other healthcare major. 6 months of previous work experience in a customer service or health care setting preferred. No clinical experience required.
