Job Summary
The new psychiatrist will be responsible for timely completion of clinical forensic psychiatric evaluations / consultations to Courts and other agencies throughout the State.

Responsibilities:
+ **Provide forensic psychiatric evaluations related to criminal, civil, probate mental health, family court and immigration court matters as assigned.**
+ **Provide timely and competent forensic psychiatric consultation to Courts by way or written reports and oral testimony as assigned.**
+ **Maintain good working relationships with staff from University of Minnesota, DCT and other liaising agencies including Courts, law firms, attorneys and law enforcement agencies.**
+ **Provide backup coverage for clinical services to meet program needs within assigned duty hours.**

Minimum Qualifications
+ Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota
+ Board Certified Psychiatrist (or board eligible)
+ Completion of a fellowship program preferably in Forensic Psychiatry however, other sub-specialties will be considered
+ Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
