    Responsibilities

    Join the Academic Section of Internal Medicine and be an integral part of building a newly accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. Joseph Medical Center!

    Highlights:

    + Receive a faculty appointment based on experience

    + See patients with medical residents and students in both inpatient and outpatient settings

    + Position involves rotations for inpatient, outpatient and skilled nursing care

    + Participate in teaching lectures and didactics as part of the core curriculum for the IM residency program

    + Provide mentorship to medical students and residents

    + Participate in program evaluation and resident evaluation

    + Position Details:

    + Mix of inpatient and outpatient care

    + Inpatient 7on/7off

    + Outpatient is M-F only

    + Shared equal call for all providers

    + On call on average 1 in 4 weekends for inpatient rounding with house staff

    + Research opportunities present with a full time Director of Research available for assistance

    + All candidates must be board certified in internal medicine

    MD/DO

    Active Missouri License and DEA

     

    Board-Certified in Internal Medicine
