Job Description

Insight Global is hiring several L2 Production Support Engineers to support a Hadoop based

environment for a large financial client. Key responsibilities include release coordination, system upgrades, system

operations, and hands-on troubleshooting of data quality, data integrity, and root cause

analysis.

Skills and Requirements

Must-Have Experience & Qualifications:

Several years of experience working in a Production/Application Support role

Experience working in a Hadoop and/or DevOps support environment

Experience with Unix, Bash scripting, and SQL

Experience/exposure to Spark development, optimization and troubleshooting

Strong data and code analysis skills (troubleshooting data quality/integrity, root

causes)

Comfortable working with all levels of management

Comfortable with bringing attention to risks before they become issues.

Comfortable with leading small efforts Nice-to-Have Experience & Qualifications:

Experience with Java, Python, or other object orientated programming languages.

Automation testing experience with Cucumber or other related tools. null
