    Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is seeking a **Configuration/Data Management Specialist 2** to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located at **Bacchus (Magna), UT**

    _Role Description and Responsibilities:_

    + The Configuration/Data Management Specialist will be responsible for the management of the Missile Systems Programs SDRL (Subcontract Data Requirements List)/CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List)’s, ensuring that respective Program SDRL/CDRL owner’s get them completed on time, providing appropriate cover letters and ensuring that distribution is made to the respective customers as required by contractual need dates. Maintaining the SDRL/CDRL requirements log for regular review with customer and program leadership. This requires interaction/communication with Program Managers, Engineering, Contracts, and Finance leadership, as well as our Lockheed Martin, NAVY, and MDA customer interfaces.

    + The Configuration/Data Management Specialist is also responsible for working with NDT management and Lockheed Martin on identified needs/shipment /receipt of HECT (High Energy Computed Tomography) spares in support of the HECT systems used on the FBM programs. Maintaining documentation, communication with Stores/SWFLANT/Sunnyvale/47A (Bacchus) and Chinalake.

    + The Specialist also works closely with Contracts and our customers on contract closeouts. Gathering the necessary documentation/certificates required for each project closeout. Obtaining the necessary leadership signatures and maintaining the database log of submittals and billings and receipt of payment for project/contract closeouts.

    + The Configuration/Data Management Specialist also assists with coordination and tracking of required cross utilization requests for programs and maintaining a record to ensure all cross utilizations are maintained.

    + The Specialist also compiles release/submittal packages ensuring all documentation is present. Notifies appropriate departments of any new or updated data. Maintains audit trails. Researches and resolves inconsistencies with submittal packages of SDRL/CDRL’s, contract closeout documents and HECT Spares requirements.

    _Basic Qualifications:_

    + High School degree with 2 years of technical and business data/and or contracts experience.

    _Required Qualifications:_

    + Demonstrated experience with Excel, Word, some experience with presentation and database software

    + Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and execute

    + Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences

    _Preferred Qualifications:_

    + Demonstrated initiative, follow through and attention to detail

    + Demonstrated self-starter, enthusiastic willing to learn

    + Experience with rocket motor manufacturing, SDRL requirements and costing a plus

    + Some technical or secondary education

    + Associate degree a plus

    _Additional Requirements:_

    + Successful candidate must be able to pass a background check for the Federal Safe Explosives Act (SEA)

    This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

     

    Salary Range: $36,300.00 - $60,500.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
