Job Description
Arnot Health is seeking a dedicated Quality Improvement Associate to support our Department of Radiology. This role plays a vital part in ensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency within the department. You’ll be joining a collaborative team and providing both clerical and administrative support—all while contributing to the improvement of patient care services.
Schedule:
+ Full-Time, 40 hours per week
+ Monday through Friday, Day shift
+ 6 Paid Holidays
Key Responsibilities Quality & Compliance:
+ Assist with collecting, analyzing, and monitoring data related to compliance and departmental operations.
+ Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
+ Gain and apply knowledge of regulatory standards in a healthcare environment.
+ Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing departmental performance.
Clerical & Administrative Support:
+ Serve as the department’s receptionist: greet visitors, answer calls professionally, and direct inquiries appropriately.
+ Utilize electronic medical records and Radiology systems (HIS/RIS, PACS, iConnect, EPIC).
+ Manage radiology disc production and legal tracking.
+ Assist in exam ordering and coordinate information flow among staff and physicians.
+ Provide support for day-to-day operations, including phone coverage, data entry, and document handling.
Technology & Communication:
+ Use Microsoft Office applications and various Radiology-specific systems.
+ Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, staff, and external partners.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Prior hospital or medical secretarial experience preferred.
+ Familiarity with radiology procedures and terminology a plus.
+ Experience in customer-facing roles (retail, phone support) is a plus.
Skills & Qualities:
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Proficient in basic computer functions and Microsoft Office.
+ Professional demeanor and a team-oriented attitude.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize patient needs.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., with some bending, reaching, and walking
