Boeing** **Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for an **Experienced or Senior Non Destructive Test (NDT) Specialist** to support the **Quality Team** based out of **North Charleston, South Carolina.

Successful candidates will perform setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment, develop procedures and processes. NDT specialists perform tests or inspections and collect data. Specialist will provide feedback on adverse trends and tooling support.

Position Responsibilities** **:

+ Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.

+ Develops procedures and processes.

+ Performs tests or inspections and collects data.

+ Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.

+ Provides feedback on adverse trends.

+ Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.

+ Conducts certification preparation training.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Must be able to work a variable shift

+ Must be able to travel 10% of the time

+ Hold a current NDT Level II certification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 3+ years combination of education and experience

+ Certification in Radiation Testing RT) X-Ray

+ Certification in Eddy Current Testing

+ Certification in Radiographic Testing

+ More than 1 year of experience handling and working with radioactive materials and x-ray systems

Summary pay range (Experienced): $70,100 - $87,000

Summary pay range (Senior): $89,100 - $102,000
