Description

Robert Half's confidential law firm client is looking for a skilled Paralegal to join their team in the contract to hire capacity. This firm has an environmental and construction law focus, so ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years in similar practice areas. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support in litigation matters and contributing to the firm’s success through meticulous research, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage e-filings using platforms such as PeachCourt and Odyssey.

• Assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including drafting legal documents and correspondence.

• Conduct detailed research on legal matters related to construction, environmental, and real estate cases.

• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

• Manage calendaring and scheduling to coordinate deadlines and meetings effectively.

• Update clients on the progress of their cases and address inquiries professionally.

• Support the team with administrative tasks to enhance workflow efficiency.

Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably with a background in construction, environmental, or real estate law.

• Proficiency in case management software, including PeachCourt and Odyssey.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Expertise in e-filing processes and legal document preparation.

• Knowledge of calendaring and scheduling practices within a legal setting.

• Exceptional communication skills for client updates and team collaboration.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in case documentation.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules when needed.
