Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. Working remotely for a Massachusetts based company, this role involves providing critical support to the Legal Department by managing workflows, drafting legal documents, and conducting research. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand priorities and ensure projects are completed on time.

• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision.

• Conduct research, gather information from various departments, and compile data for legal matters.

• Coordinate and organize incoming work for the Legal Department, including managing deadlines and streamlining workflows.

• Oversee the organization of files and tracking of documents to support ongoing and pending projects.

• Assist in managing trademark and patent portfolios to ensure compliance and proper documentation.

• Address day-to-day issues related to Legal Department operations and provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in using tools like JIRA to manage tasks and workflows.

• Experience drafting legal documents with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong research skills, including the ability to compile and analyze data effectively.

• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.

• Familiarity with trademark and patent portfolio management is a plus.
