    Certifications/Qualifications:

    Current clerk or on Civil Service clerk eligible list preferred

     

    + The selected candidate must be in title or on the approved Civil Service Clerk list; if not, the candidate will be appointed provisionally and be required to take the exam once announced and score in the top three.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other clerical software

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced office and maintain confidentiality

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Ability to get along well with others

    + Clerical aptitude, mental alertness, neatness, accuracy, tact and courtesy

    + Able to collaborate, prioritize and meet deadlines

    + Have a positive attitude, a team player, friendly and customer-service oriented

    + Must enjoy working with children

    + Duties include attendance

    + 10-month position

    + Salary per the CSEA contract
