Description General staff accountants must possess attention to detail and sold communication abilities. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Strong technology skill are critical, particularly expertise with Microsoft Excel.

-Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting entries.

-Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.

-Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts.

-Assisting with initial internal control evaluations.

-Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.

Software experience: Quickbooks, Excel (advanced), Yardi, Sage, NetSuite, Oracle or other comparable accounting software.
